unpredictable . tt's what life is . we , as human beings can only plan , but we can't decide . if it happens , it happens , if it doesn't , it simply just doesn't . things you least expected will come knocking on your door . we can't say no . this is fate . we can't fight it , nor can we avoid it . cos fate does not lie in our hands .i was watching a japanese movie on the net last night . 'HEAVEN CAN WAIT , MAYBE . ' it's a really touching movie . i strongly recommend you guys to watch it . it's a story about love and friendship . and how it affects us .
HEAVEN CAN WAIT , MAYBE .
a story of 3 bestfriends . hiroku , takeshi and kaoru .
it all started out when they were about 6 years old . takeshi and kaoru went to the same school . they were close because both their parents were close . one day , hiroku , joined their class . after introducing each other , hiroku , takeshi and kaoru were inseparable .
days later , hiroku was bullied . takeshi helped him but he was outnumbered . so , kaoru tried . but she was cornered . and hiroku protected her . ever since then , they made a triangle . a sacred triangle . they swore to always be in the triangle .
they talked about ambitions . and they all achieved it . hiroku became a journalist , takeshi became a fisherman and kaoru became a sales girl . their workplace formed a triangle , the sacred triangle .
one day , takeshi decided to confess his feelings to kaoru . so he called both kaoru and hiroku to meet him at their usual hangout . there , he asked hiroku if it was ouhkay tt he proposed to kaoru . and hiroku had no choice but to say yes . so , kaoru accepted takeshi's proposal . actually , hiroku , too , liked kaoru . ( it's sad how you have to sacrifice just to see the one you love happy . )
on their wedding day , takeshi had to make a last minute delivery . on his way back , he saw 3 kids , and he reminisced their childhood , remembering the happy moments , reliving it in his mind . suddenly , a car from the adjacent lane came zooming in his direction . he swerved , trying to avoid a crash . he did , but instead , his van rolled down a steep hill and he was in a coma . he was in a coma for 3 years .
in all the 3 years of takeshi's coma , kaoru waited patiently . she visited him everyday . and everyday she visited , she would fold little paper cranes . kaoru's parents felt miserable looking at kaoru's condition . because she doesn't know when takeshi will ever regain his conscious . so , kaoru's parents decided to pair her up with hiroku .
after much persuasion , kaoru finally accepted hiroku's proposal . the whole family decided to go to the hospital to 'tell' takeshi of the good news . just as they were toasting , takeshi woke up . everyone was shocked but they were absolutely elated and grateful he woke up . however , takeshi lost his memory .
what made it worst was tt takeshi had only 30 days to live . when he knew tt , takeshi told hiroku and kaoru tt he wanted to witness their wedding before he died . and he did . just after hiroku and kaoru made their wedding vows , takeshi died , peacefully . several years later , hiroku and kaoru were blessed with a beautiful baby .
and tt was how the story ended . it might not sound sad . cos it's in my words . but watch it . and you'll understand it . i assure you , it's not a waste of time . imagine , you are going to marry the one you love but on tt very day , you had a coma . and when you wake up , you only have 30 days to live . how'd you feel ? i was deeply touched by this awesome story . it taught me tt love will make us sacrifice . and friendship is more important than love . and tt love and friendship are one of the greatest things in life tt one can ever have . so treasure your loved ones and your friends ppl . cos you'll never know when they'll die .
